My Hobby (Reading)

My hobby is reading books. I was only five years old when my father bought me a children book which had lots of colorful pictures. Since then I started reading books. Besides my academic books, I like to read books of different genre like- detective books, Science fiction, travel books, short stories, poetry etc. My parents and teacher always encouraged my reading. They also gifted me books on different occasions like- my birthday. Each year I go to Amar Ekushey book fair with my parents. Book fair is my favorite place to visit because it is really amazing to see such a huge collection of books and book lovers at one place.I am a regular member of our school library. Each week I borrow a book from the library and return it on the due time. I believe that reading opens your mind, it cast away the darkness and ignorance and fill our mind and heart with the light of knowledge. Reading various kinds of books broaden your mind and also improve the way of your thinking. By each new book you read, you are becoming a better person than you were. My parents also like to read. Every night my mother tells me a story or any interesting thing that she has learned from a book. My friends also like to read. We frequently share books with each other and gift books to others. We also have a plan to build a mini library in our area. So that every child of our area can read books and grow the habit of reading.

My Visit to Sylhet

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

It is also a matter of great pride for us that we are the only nation that sacrificed their lives for the sake of their mother tongue on  21st February of 1952. In order to show respect to them, UNESCO has declared 21st February as International Mother Language Day. The name of the capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka. The Person I admire most (Prophet Muhammad PBUH)

The person I admire the most is our Prophet Rasulullah PBUH. I love him more than anyone else and even more than my life. He is the role model of honesty, kindness, truthfulness, and well mannered. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mutalib and Aminah Binti Wahab are his parents. He came from the greatest ethnicity in Mecca, which is Qusay Bin Kilab’s family tree from Prophet Ishmael’s generation. Muhammad (p.u.h) is a prophet sent from Allah to all humankind. He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. He was an orphan. So, he was raised by his uncle Abd Al Motaleb who was from a tribe called Qurays The personality of our prophet is too good that I do not have enough words to describe. He was called Al Amin because of his truthfulness. There is no one who can resemble him. He was popular even among non-Muslims because of his truthfulness, honesty, kindness, politeness, patience, and more. Prophet Muhammad is a great figure in the world, and one of the most influential peo...
