Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

We landed at Cox's Bazar in the early morning. We booked a hotel near the sea beach. After taking our breakfast, we went to the sea beach. I was amazed by the view of the sea. Many people were taking baths. At first, I got afraid as I don't know how to swim but later with my parents I also took bath in the sea. The big waves were splashing down on the shore. Red crabs were walking on the sand in a line. Words can't express ho...

I am grateful to the almighty for every single day of my life. But there are some days that are more special than others. These are memorable days which always cheer me up. I have many memorable days in my life but the most memorable day in my life was when my JSC’s result was published. It was the end of previous year. I was very worried about the exam result. I could not sleep for two nights and I prayed hard to almighty. Finally, the day of result publication has arrived. I was so anxious that I started to cry. My father consoled me and told me to be strong. He said it’s just an exam and it will not decide my whole future. I shouldn’t worry that much. Even if the result is not satisfactory, I should work hard for the future exams. The advice of my father gave me strength and inner peace. I was ready to accept the result. At afternoon, my result was published. I was so happy that I have achieved GPA 5. My joys knew no bounds. My best friend saw the result on the internet and inf...

Winter Vacation

Winter is my most favorite season. I love winter vacation because it starts after the final examination is finished. During the winter vacation, I go to my grandparent house in Pabna. My other cousins also live there. So together we spend quality time. We wake up early in the morning and drink fresh date juice. My grandmother makes various pitha in winter. We eat them by sitting in the kitchen. After having breakfast we go outside to play. We play cricket, football, and other outdoor games. We also hold a picnic and also arrange cultural functions. At the evening the weather becomes colder so we remain inside the house and listen to stories told by my grandfather. My parents also encourage me to do some charity work at this season as the poor suffer much in this season. So we distribute warm clothes to the poor villagers. Winter vacation is the time of fresh vegetables, fruits, picnic, and different cultural functions. So I love this season very much.
