Patriotism

Patriotism is the greatest of all virtues. A person who is not patriot should not be considered as a human being. A patriot is a person who loves his own country and value this love above all. He loves his country more than his own life and is ready to sacrifice his life happily for his country. In our liberation war, many patriot freedom fighters have sacrificed their lives. Because of the sacrifice of 3 million martyrs, now we live in a free country. A patriot always thinks of the well being of his country. He will never do any act that will harm his country. He always pays his tax, never engages in any kind of corruption and always protests when he saws other people engages in corruption or any acts that will harm the country or its people. A patriot person always gives more priority about the welfare of his country and for this reason he is ready to sacrifice his own interest if necessary. Decades after decades, the patriots are the people who happily have bear all the torture, pain for the sake of their country and countryman. Our greatest leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the perfect example of true patriotism. For all his life, he has worked for the well being of the people of this country. Nothing could stop him from his aim, the independence of the country. A patriot is ready to pay any price, bear any burden, gone through any hardship for his country. However, there is also negative impacts of patriotism. Some people are too obsessed about the greatness of their country that they are ready to do any wrong deed to destroy other nations. Too much patriotism often leads to the nationalism which is dangerous for humanity. Because of the extreme patriotism or nationalism, Hitler and Nazis have conducted holocaust during the second world war. As a nation, we should learn the lesson of patriotism and serve for the betterment of our country and countrymen.

My Visit to Sylhet

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

The person I admire the most is our Prophet Rasulullah PBUH. I love him more than anyone else and even more than my life. He is the role model of honesty, kindness, truthfulness, and well mannered. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mutalib and Aminah Binti Wahab are his parents. He came from the greatest ethnicity in Mecca, which is Qusay Bin Kilab’s family tree from Prophet Ishmael’s generation. Muhammad (p.u.h) is a prophet sent from Allah to all humankind. He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. He was an orphan. So, he was raised by his uncle Abd Al Motaleb who was from a tribe called Qurays The personality of our prophet is too good that I do not have enough words to describe. He was called Al Amin because of his truthfulness. There is no one who can resemble him. He was popular even among non-Muslims because of his truthfulness, honesty, kindness, politeness, patience, and more. Prophet Muhammad is a great figure in the world, and one of the most influential peo...
