The Padma Bridge

The dream of our Padma Bridge has come into reality. It is a multipurpose road-rail bridge across the mighty Padma. After its completion, it will be the largest bridge in Bangladesh and will serve many purposes. It will connect three districts- Munhiganj, Madaripur, and Shariatpur. The bridge will link the southwest part of the country to the northeast part. The main length of the bridge is 6.15km and the width is 18.10 meters. The bridge will have an enormous effect on our communication, economy, and industrialization. In the southern region, we do not have enough railway networks. Moreover, the people of the south part of the country are more vulnerable to various natural disasters. The project aims to provide improved access to the market to those people. After completion, the project will improve the national GDP by 1.2%. It will also reduce the risk of natural hazards like-river bank erosion. It will also reduce the excess risk of death from risky launch and ferry operations. The bridge will have 42 pillars and 41 spans in total. The first span was set on 30th September 2017. China Major Bridge Engineering Constructions LTD is a major construction organization. There will also be rail lines, roads, gas transmission lines, and fiber optic communication links in the bridge that's why it is called Padma Multipurpose Bridge. The benefits that we will get from this bridge are very high. It will lessen the travel time which results in saving a huge amount of money. It will also connect the Mongla port, our second largest port. It is also a matter of pride for us that we are building this bridge on our self-funding. Now, we all know that the finally the wait has over. This bridge can be used from 25th June. Our honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate this bridge on the fixed date at 10:00 AM. The completion of the construction of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge will fulfill the dream of our father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

My Visit to Sylhet

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

Our independence day is 26th March and Victory day is 16th December. The national language of our country is Bangla. It is also a matter of great pride for us that we are the only nation that sacrificed their lives for the sake of their mother tongue on  21st February of 1952. In order to show respect to them, UNESCO has declared 21st February as International Mother Language Day. The name of the capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka. It is the busiest and populated city in our country. The total population is 16 crore. The total area of our country is 1,47,570 square km. Our country is a river-oriented country. The Person I admire most (Prophet Muhammad PBUH)

The person I admire the most is our Prophet Rasulullah PBUH. I love him more than anyone else and even more than my life. He is the role model of honesty, kindness, truthfulness, and well mannered. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mutalib and Aminah Binti Wahab are his parents. He came from the greatest ethnicity in Mecca, which is Qusay Bin Kilab’s family tree from Prophet Ishmael’s generation. Muhammad (p.u.h) is a prophet sent from Allah to all humankind. He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. He was an orphan. So, he was raised by his uncle Abd Al Motaleb who was from a tribe called Qurays The personality of our prophet is too good that I do not have enough words to describe. He was called Al Amin because of his truthfulness. There is no one who can resemble him. He was popular even among non-Muslims because of his truthfulness, honesty, kindness, politeness, patience, and more. Prophet Muhammad is a great figure in the world, and one of the most influential peo...
