Higher Education in Bangladesh

Higher education is necessary for the development of an individual. Usually, the education which is offered after higher secondary is known as higher education. In our country, higher education is provided by public and private universities and colleges that are affiliated with National University. The aim of higher education is to gather knowledge, conduct research, and development activities, learn new skills, and work for the development of society and country. For achieving a white-collar job and a better future, higher education is necessary. But earning money is not the sole purpose of achieving higher education. Higher education broadens up one's mind and makes him aware and conscious. A higher educated person can differentiate between good and bad and black and white. He can take better decisions for himself and society. The prosperity of a country depends on the number and quality of higher education. A higher educated person is far-sighted and in terms of needs, he can serve his nation. During a crisis, the nation looks upon them. But it's a matter of sorrow that our universities have failed to provide world-class education. The budget that is allocated for higher education is not sufficient. Our universities lack modern laboratories and other facilities. The opportunities for research-related activities is very narrow. Moreover, many universities have failed to upgrade them and adopt the modern method of teaching. The students of national universities and some public universities suffer from session-jot which is a curse for a student. There was a time when higher education was considered a luxury but at present time it's a necessity. Many poor but meritorious students could not achieve higher education due to poverty. So government should provide financial initiatives or student loans to them. Both the government and the universities should take proper measures to improve the quality and affordability of higher education.

My Visit to Sylhet

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

The Person I admire most (Prophet Muhammad PBUH)

The person I admire the most is our Prophet Rasulullah PBUH. I love him more than anyone else and even more than my life. He is the role model of honesty, kindness, truthfulness, and well mannered. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mutalib and Aminah Binti Wahab are his parents. He came from the greatest ethnicity in Mecca, which is Qusay Bin Kilab’s family tree from Prophet Ishmael’s generation. Muhammad (p.u.h) is a prophet sent from Allah to all humankind. He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. He was an orphan. So, he was raised by his uncle Abd Al Motaleb who was from a tribe called Qurays The personality of our prophet is too good that I do not have enough words to describe. He was called Al Amin because of his truthfulness. There is no one who can resemble him. He was popular even among non-Muslims because of his truthfulness, honesty, kindness, politeness, patience, and more. Prophet Muhammad is a great figure in the world, and one of the most influential peo...
