Water Pollution

Water is also known as life. No single living being on this planet can survive without water. The major portion of the earth is covered with water. But pure drinking water is not widely available. Water is the most beautiful gift of nature so it's our duty to protect it from contamination. Without water, our survival will be impossible so we must conserve it. Life is very hard in deserts and drought-prone areas where it's very hard to collect water. To live, we need to eat and water is essential for growing foods. Without water, our economy, society all will be endangered. Without access to clean water, the living become jeopardized. But the water around us is polluted in many ways. Rapid industrialization is one of the major reasons for water pollution. Traditionally factories and mills are constructed on the bank of the river and it results in throwing chemicals and wastage in the water which causes water pollution. Due to the agricultural revolution for better growth of crops, farmers also use a huge amount of pesticides and fertilizer on the land. During rain, these are washed away and fall into rivers, canals, ponds and by this water get polluted. Accidental leakage of marine vehicles is also a major cause of water pollution in developing and developed countries. People also frequently dump garbage into water. In our country, while travel through marine vehicles like ships, ferry, boats people dump packets, remains of foods, cans into the water which is heavily responsible for water pollution. Drinking the contaminated water causes various diseases like cholera, typhoid, diarrhea et which often takes lives. The chemicals and pesticides when mixed with water also creates huge damage to our body and can create diseases like cancer. Our government has taken a long time plan, Delta Plan-2100 to protect our water resources. Now it's our own responsibility to protect our water resource and reduce water pollution.

My Visit to Sylhet

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.

The person I admire the most is our Prophet Rasulullah PBUH. I love him more than anyone else and even more than my life. He is the role model of honesty, kindness, truthfulness, and well mannered. Abdullah Bin Abdul Mutalib and Aminah Binti Wahab are his parents. He came from the greatest ethnicity in Mecca, which is Qusay Bin Kilab’s family tree from Prophet Ishmael’s generation. Muhammad (p.u.h) is a prophet sent from Allah to all humankind. He is the last prophet. He was born in Makah in the year 570. He was an orphan. So, he was raised by his uncle Abd Al Motaleb who was from a tribe called Qurays The personality of our prophet is too good that I do not have enough words to describe. He was called Al Amin because of his truthfulness. There is no one who can resemble him. He was popular even among non-Muslims because of his truthfulness, honesty, kindness, politeness, patience, and more. Prophet Muhammad is a great figure in the world, and one of the most influential peo...
