Street Accident

Nowadays, the street accident has become a very common scenario. It is a very unpleasant event. It takes a life or cripples a person for a lifetime. Many people and many families have destroyed due to street accidents. Many families have lost their only earning member. Street accidents mainly occur when the drivers or pedestrians do not follow the traffic rules. On highways, the occurrence of a street accident is very common. Sometimes the driver drives recklessly on an empty road. Moreover, in our country, people often manage to get a driving license without passing the driving test. Sometimes vehicle owners also employ drivers with less or no skills as they can pay them less money than the qualified ones. Using a cell phone while driving or walking on the road has become a common cause of street accidents nowadays. Not following the traffic rules has become a common tendency among the people of our country. Some drivers are always in a rush and they focus more on reaching the destination early rather than following the rules. This is also a major reason for street accidents. The government has banned some vehicles like battery-powered rickshaws, easy bikes are types of vehicles to ply on the main road of cities due to avoid accidents. Still, the implementation of this ban hasn't forced properly. Moreover consuming illegal drugs has become a common tendency among bus and truck drivers and helpers. The addiction is also highly responsible for road accidents. Street accidents also affect negatively the economy of the country. According to WHO, road traffic injuries cause 2% of GDP loss every year in Bangladesh which is really dissatisfactory. If the vehicle is not under insurance then the vehicle owner has to face a huge economic loss. The Bangladesh government has imposed new traffic laws in 2019. The punishment and fine have imposed for careless driving, unskilled driver, vehicles without fitness, driving overloaded cars and illegal parking, and not following the traffic rules. So it can be assumed that the number of street accident will be decrease in the upcoming days.

Sylhet is one of the most beautiful places in Bangladesh. It's a place of natural beauty. Sylhet is widely known for having tea gardens and hills. It is also a holy place as it is known as the place of 360 awlias(saints). Last year I got the opportunity to go to Sylhet. I visited Sylhet with my family. We went there by train. I sat beside the window and enjoy the scenes through the window. I was overwhelmed by the natural scenes. After seven hours long journey, we reached Sylhet. We visited all the places of tourist attractions like- Jaflong which is near the Indian border, Ratargul swamp forest, Lauachara forest, and Tangua Haor. We spent five days in Sylhet. I enjoyed each and every moments of my Sylhet tour.
